This fiction debut of five stories deals with loss, family struggles, Jewish faith, and the search for the deeper meaning of life. Beneath it all lies the ultimate question of identity. Who are we at our very core, and what ultimately guides our decisions?
My Story
Deborah Kotz was an award-winning health reporter with the Boston Globe and US News and World Report. As a Boston Globe staff writer, she shared in the paper’s 2014 Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings. She currently works in media relations and earned an MFA from the University of Baltimore. Her work has been published in the online literary journal JewishFiction.net.
